Groups make a difference when they serve together and impact the lives of others by filling a need. Scripture tells us to share the love of Christ with others and help those less fortunate. Look below for opportunities and prayerfully consider choosing one for your group to serve.

In the Neighborhood
Move out beyond the walls of CLC! Shine Christ’s light and share His love in your neighborhoods. Get to know your neighbors.  Gather your group and discuss ways to serve in the neighborhood. Everyone lives in a neighborhood, so choose a need and serve together as a group. Be creative on how to reach out to your neighbors. Listed below are just a few suggestions:

• Help an elderly neighbor, disabled person or single mom with yard work; planting or mowing

• Provide meals, groceries or shopping for a neighbor who is ill or disabled

• Provide handyman work and painting for a neighbor

• Baby sit for a single mom

• Help with a neighborhood garage sale

Café and Gourmet Coffee Bar

Café Hours are  from 8:00 – 12:00 pm.  Invite your small group to help out on a Sunday in the Café. It’s a fun and easy way for groups to do ministry and serve together. Regular Café volunteers are grateful for your help, and it’s a great way to meet others as they come down to the Café for food and fellowship.  If your small group is interested, you can choose one or more Sundays to volunteer.
